There is authenticity from musicians, even if they're writing slop. There's no authenticity in modern pop music production. There are no real sounds or voices.

And also why is Katty naked and sexy all the time in her new song? I mean it‘s okay for women to show their body but it‘s not an important thing about beeing one. It‘s giving more that the only job for women is looking sexy- that‘s not fighting for their rights, Katty
    So I don’t know what to think…

This is why my concept for a musician was almost blank, they were faceless, had a pseudonym, “HRTZ”, a reference to listening to music on the radio, projecting your imagination and personality onto the song rather than the artist’s, you can project onto the blank canvas of HRTZ rather than knowing them, they allow you to explore yourself. I really liked this idea for a musician that is real, but not focused on their brand, their brand is their listeners, how they imagine the music, the videos would’ve been this cybergoth, masked characters, mostly wearing white, with some electric blue in their wig, robotic but not fully inhuman, with insanely trippy colors in the background flowing around in Psychedelic swirls of color, lending itself to the creativity of watchers and listeners. Like I used to do as a kid in the car

Your assessment that artists were all inauthentic posers back in the day is a little off base. Ask John Lennon when he quipped the Beatles were bigger than Jesus. Here's a fun exercise: name me an artist that has done anything close to their best work 18 years into their career. It's nearly impossible. You're naming artists that are still in their nascent stages of their career to compare to Katy Perry. What about Justin Timberlake? What about any number of former hitmakers that have made "flops" lately? How many 44 year olds make tiktok trending songs? When you see someone like Gaga doing duets with Tony Bennett, that is a smart career move. Not because it will be hot and make a Tony Bennett girl summer, but because it opened up her fan base. It gave her artistic credibility to a wider audience who only knew her as the meat dress girl. If and when the next time Katy Perry makes something that pops… THAT'S the video that should be made. But negativity gets clicks. How about next you make a video about how Van Morrison's new album shows how out of touch he is with tiktok culture.

Fun fact: Girl's World in the album Water Dogs by Penelope Scott does a SUPURB job at doing everything Katy Perry tried to do! The songs are relatable and actually bring up sexism and many other issues. The songs also manage to sound super upbeat and pop music-ey but it has actual emotion behind it. The whole album is actually great and I really reccommend it.

She doesn’t even realise herself. She says she wrote the songs but also mentions him as a writer multiple times… Lady did these songs come entirely from you or was he a writer?

I never seen her as authentic sorry just by interviews she is very, very cold, and seems to know little about her own songs even. I know I have a bias because I come from metal and being authentic is 100% what the scene is about, like we want the personality of our artists to come out. The amount of metal songs that make metal heads cry because a band members family died and they wrote an album about it. Also, they like a movie so they write an album about it, and we relate to each other becasue we also like that movie or game. Yeah and like many comments below she is just not into the music anymore maybe do a Demi Lovato and change genres Lovato's new album is a really good rock album and was well received by rockers. I liked the album it was very Freddy Mercury/ twisted Sister sound to it, and was the mark she was going for and pretty much nailed it.

Personally though I do not like Katy Perry's personality so no matter what genre she made I would probably not like it, she is just very brand safe and has never come across as real to me.

I’m fairly sure, even as a man, that in a post-Roe world, it’s really not a woman’s world, and people aren’t lucky to be here. That’s tone deaf as all hell. Dr Luke controversy aside, it really misses the mark on this point alone. Add to that, inauthentic Katy Perry has now embarrassed herself by going to space. The lack of relatability of that act just divorces her further from ordinary people. If nothing else, she could have spent that money on making a better album!
