INFO: Steven John Wilson (born 3 November 1967) is an English musician and record producer, most associated with the progressive rock genre. Currently a solo artist, he became known as the founder, lead guitarist, singer, and songwriter of the band Porcupine Tree, as well as being a member of several other bands. He has also worked with artists such as Opeth, King Crimson, Pendulum, Jethro Tull, XTC, Yes, Marillion, Tears For Fears, Roxy Music, and Anathema.

Porcupine Tree is worth at least a couple videos. My favorite albums are In Absentia, Up the Downstair, and Stupid Dream

This album has such big and important place in my heart. Specially because I was going through my first major heartbreak ever and I used to get high and sit down in the middle of the room with my 5.1 sound system and just cry it all out. "Teleport" somewhere else. This helped me go through it all, and of course it has a very special meaning. I saw him live in Caracas, Venezuela back in the day and I remember I had to travel 12 hrs by bus to get to the Capital and ran out of money so for the rest of that month I ate nothing but oats with water and sugar lol but it was sooo worth it. I have every instant of that concert recorded in my brain so vividly. I keep the good memories and feelings from this album because the others after this were not special, at all… Slowly turning into pop. Why? So sad.

Yes… Steven Wilson, like his music, following his music skills for a few years now. He is coming to Amsterdam next year, hope the amazing Nick Beggs is his bass player again! I'd better get a ticket! Thank for the nice reviews Christian.
