I live in Mifflinburg, Pa. Amish are everywhere. It’s beneficial for the area. Their work ethic and products are better than any other place where you could find the same thing at some bs big box store.
Some of the women are the most beautiful women you’ll ever find and mind you with no makeup. They’re built like a brick 💩house, would F you til the cows come home and then turn around and make you a pie. They would keep your belly full and your balls empty. Not sure why I’m not amish

I framed houses with a kid that "went english" and was supposed to be excommunicated from the amish community. We went to breakfast at his parents place couple times a week. His family had electricity because his father was a cabinet maker and brought in a lot of money. The shop had an oil lamp and wooden desk where you ordered the "old amish craftsmenship" piece of furniture. Go back into the shop and it was all electric and pneumatic. Look into the parties the kids have before they join the "church". It goes on and on. Bought a 72 mach 1 Mustang off them. You figure it out.

I worked at an estate sale company and the Amish came somewhat frequently. But that smellnthere was 2 types. Amish must and hippie cologne. And I don't mean weed smell

We have the Hutterites and Mennonites here(North Dakota) idk the difference. The Hutterite’s live closer to my town, we call them “the hoots” they do have a crazy accent. It’s like a German speaking good English, but deeper…they have a lot of $$$ / farmland. They drive vehicles and have really nice tractors and equipment though, they just dress similar to the Amish and they call everybody on their colony brother or sister. I believe they also get crazy good tax breaks. We buy chickens from them too or pork, they have little farm shops. They also do some catering. I spend a weddings that have had them cater all good food. I don’t think they’re racist, i’ve never heard them say anything bad, but they are for sure white and huge, like tall too.

Getting hot from behind is bizarre! My little car got creamed by a truck towing industrial lawnmowers. I was stopped at a light and then I was moving sideways thru 3 lanes, stopped at the car door of a cop. I don't what the…. Totalled my car. Nothing happened to me. I thought I was being kidnapped by aliens.

I've been to Holmes County Ohio where that Amish Mafia show was was centered and didn't realize it till years later. We went to an awesome Amish store there and bought a bunch of goods and a cookbook. Didn't see a single gangster there.

We have mennonites here in Belize. They came from Mexico a long time ago. Sometimes they drive cars but most of them still use buggies. They don’t look jealous to have a car. Given they have enough farm and grazing land, they can replenish their horses easily and they all know how to fix literally everything by hand. They’re very self-sufficient and probably look at us like dependent parasites
