Ismell is actually a really good idea to actually remember or experience smells. But just not for everyone. Because there are quite a few dangers that come with being able to produce any kind of smell just by anyone who wanted to. But if it's like restricted to certain businesses or people who will use it for it's intended use then I can see the vision. Because theatres, VR and such immersive experience truly now only lack the smell.
the light camera seems like a great idea on papers but the design is very hard to look at.

There’s something misleading about this description. It wasn’t just a feeling that AMD was shortchanging users with core counts during the Bulldozer era—it was technically accurate. AMD’s Bulldozer architecture used a module-based design, where each module housed two integer cores but shared key resources like the floating-point unit and instruction fetch/decode stages. As a result, those "cores" couldn't perform as independently as true, fully separate CPU cores, leading to performance that often fell short of expectations—especially in single-threaded tasks.
AMD’s resurgence came with the launch of the Zen architecture, which introduced true cores with dedicated resources. Since then, AMD has delivered CPUs that not only offer full, independent cores but also compete strongly in both performance and efficiency.

Intel's i9 14900k is weaker than the AMD Ryzen 7 9800x3d. The 14900k has 24 cores. The 9800x3d has 8 cores. How the tables have turned.

Another issue I think with the 3d tvs is what I experienced with my 3ds……headaches, I have never used my 3dss 3d function, I played exclusively in 2d because almost immediately after turning 3d on I'd get an instant tension headache….yeah I stick with 2d, the normal depth of the graphics is good enough for me

I still have my 2011 3d tv, passive, I have dozens of glasses from 3d theatres. It’s awesome, the tech was great 14 years ago, people sucked and didn’t adopt it.

The GoPro Karma drone had so much potential with a build in detachable gymbal to use in handheld included. I’m still hoping they give it a second shot 🙁

i was enthralled with the spectacular "just cause" games shortly before the avengers game, and it was a huge disappointment that changed my opinion of avalanche unlike insomniac or rockstar being a 100% quality dev avalanche seems to be a hit and miss organisation.
