The two times I literally thought the world ended were 2012 because of the whole Mayan calander thing and of course the Covid 19 pandemic (even though the pandemic is over, life I don’t think will ever be the same just saying)

Kashmir information was provided incorrectly. Kashmir has Muslim majority who wanted to be part of Pakistan but at the time of separation between Indian and Pakistan, India using it's military took control of the area. The UN has mandated a referendum decades ago that India has halted it and will never allow as it fears the obvious, the Kashmiri people joining Pakistan. This is the base reality and this is the root cause of the tension between Pakistan and India. This fact was not disclosed by the narrator.

Interesting list, but some of these are nonsense. None of these nuclear power plant incidents were potentially world ending. Tragic, yes, but world ending, no. Clearly, while the fear was real, there was never any chance of an atom bomb igniting the atmosphere, therefore there was never any threat.

Seeing this tells me that we should discontinue nuclear power generation, take pandemics seriously from the beginning and, if necessary, have multiple independent and redundant stations to check for any attacks from other countries.

Attempted Soviet Coup, 1991!? Holy shit!! I was born in 1992! So, if the Soviet Coup was successful, my older sister would've died at just 2 years of age, and I never would've even been born😨That's fucking scary……

Oh boy…the whole thing with India and Pakistan right now really makes you think if this will be the conflict that ignites nuclear war 🤔probably not…but with any war or conflict, the threat of nuclear attacks is always hanging over our heads

Spanish flu is now though to have originated in a military barracks in Kansas. It was only ever known as Spanish Flu because the Spanish newspapers were the first (and only) to report on the sickness. The rest of the world wanted to keep it secret because of WW1.

The mount Tambora eruption led to Mary Shelley travelling with a friend, her husband-to-be and Lord Byron to escape the terrible weather in England. Turns out it wasn't much better at Byron's estate in Italy. It was cold and rained every day. They were stuck inside for a month. This led them to play a game to create a story. The lightning one night from the storm, and an earlier conversation with the group, inspired Mary to write 'The Human Prometheus.' Better known as 'Frankenstein.'
