LIVE this SUNDAY on #REDHOOP TALK, we visit with Christine Diindiisi McCleave, enrolled citizen of Turtle Mountain Ojibwe Nation. Christine’s grandfather attended Marty Catholic Indian Boarding School in South Dakota and Haskell Indian Boarding School in Kansas. Her great grandfather attended Carlisle Indian School where he played football with Jim Thorpe. Boarding schools’ intergenerational impacts on her personal life and children’s lives led Christine to complete her Master of Arts in Leadership thesis on the spectrum of spiritual practices between traditional Native American spirituality and Christianity.
