Maintaining Cultural Connection in Urban living: This presentation acknowledges the struggle and points out the importance and how to connect to your culture from the city.
Join Jess Williams-Carson (She/Two-Spirit), member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians. She grew up in Great Lakes Region in Detroit, Michigan during the school year, and spent summers in the Eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the lands and waterway of her Tribe.

Jess works for Apple Inc. at headquarters located in Cupertino, CA on traditional lands of the Muwekma, Ohlone, and Tamyen. Jess holds the position of Technology Engagement Manager | Retail Interactive Technology and is the DNA Co-Chair of Indigenous@Apple US.
