Today on Weird History we examine the last year of the aughts, the year 2009! Capping off one wild and crazy decade, and on the cusp of an equally wild decade, 2009 had many moments! From the official swearing in of Barack Obama, the death of Pop Icon Michael Jackson, popular TV shows such as Glee getting their start, and a bit of drama with Taylor Swift and Kanye at the 2009 MTV Music awards, there’s something for everyone! But, it wasn’t all that bad, there was even a ‘Miracle on the Hudson’, when Captain Sullenberger landed a plane on the Hudson river and saved everyone onboard!
