UNITY Peer Guides Share Native Youth Town Hall Findings

Youth to Youth Dialogue: Healing Indigenous Lives Initiative
UNITY recruited a diverse group of Peer Guide mentors, who helped design, plan, and conduct training for Native youth in critical aspects of juvenile justice and delinquency prevention. The Town Hall discussions were facilitated by mentors from each of the four time zones and included a series of questions that related to questions asked of tribal leaders in OJJDP’s tribal consultation.
