Perhaps you have, or know, children who are fans of the Netflix series, “Spirit Rangers.” This animated program is about Kody, Summer and Eddy, three Indigenous siblings who have secret powers they use to protect the national forest where they live. And scoring the music is Raye Zaragoza. She joins us to talk about her work on the series.
Oglala Lakota citizen Mark Tilsen is a poet and educator from the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. His latest book of poetry is a snapshot of his time at the Standing Rock NO DAPL protests. Tilsen spoke to ICT senior producer Vincent Moniz about what you’ll find in this collection.
