my name is Joshua Tate and i would like to write that the MTV VMA awards never invited Dolly Parton to attend any of the MTV VMA music award in the past 42 years since it began in 1984., can you count one time that Dolly Parton was invited to attend the MYV VMA awards in the past 42 years since it began in 1984. I was watching a YouTube video called The Nerve with Maureen Callahan and she was doing a video interview with Rob Shutter and he said that they never liked Dolly Parton at MTV and they would make fun of Dolly Parton on MTV.. he said that this is true.

Oh dear. This got he award but STORM did not? Surreal. And I say this as an old fart that really likes "The Fate of Ophelia" song. But video is just meh, there is nothing innovative or unique.

No mention of bob weir or the Grateful Dead since she “borrowed” the name of the song from a dead lyric?!

The video of the year (and the decade and one of the best in history) is STORM by GENER8ION. The award went to Taylor Swift thanks to fan voting and the massive amount of money she generates, not because she deserved it.
