Roughly 1 billion people have been lifted out of extreme poverty through the expansion of capitalist market economies, while the resulting increases in productivity, investment, trade, innovation, and wealth helped enable transformative advances in medicine, vaccines, antibiotics, hygiene, sanitation, nutrition, clean water, and life expectancy, saving and improving hundreds of millions to billions of lives.

Maybe the first solid Gold toilet but not the last. The artist Maurizio Cattelan created an 18K solid Gold toilet in 2016. Currently owned by Ripley's Believe It or Not company which paid $12.1M for it at a Sotheby's auction. Previously owned by NY Mets owner Steve Cohen.
