As a Polish person, I love Brazilians so much and I befriend them so easily online. There are a lot of Polish last names in Brasil, I think. Can you make a video about Áurea, where Polish is still used but it's very antiquated compared to actual Poland, maybe go into how the languages and cultures mash? Sometime when you have no other topic to cover.

It’s crazy because they still had white privilege in it all and it’s interesting to see how that is perpetuate that today, probably a bit influenced from assimilating into white Anglo culture but even the first German settlers still have white privilege over it all. Even when it comes to Japanese people going into concentration camps but Germans were targeted but not as bad

That kid cosmos wants to be a rapper, he can learn texas german and create a whole underground texas german rap scene around him. That would accomplish both the revival of the language and fulfil his dream. Kid is in a unique predicament thats set up for success if he puts in little effort. its like an alley-oop.

1:13 I have to be the annoying one to point out that the language is called Irish, not Gaelic. Only Scottish Gaelic is referred to as Gaelic in English. If you speak to an Irish person about Gaelic they will think you mean Scottish Gaelic because Irish is just called Irish.

I lived in Boerne for a few years and the history of that place is amazing.
Apparently it was started by German freethinkers that (as you said) weren’t tied to slavery and didn’t necessarily care for it.
