"Never Been Kissed" made me a huge Jessica Alba fan. Lordy, I had such a crush on her after watching that movie.
I turned 8 when 1990 hit so the only romance films I remember watching across the entire decade was "Ghost", "Man in the Moon", "Titanic", "Love Jones" and "Never Been Kissed". In the 2000s, I embraced romance-comedies more because of Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Aniston. I still won't watch extremely sappy stuff like "The Notebook", or the "Twilight" series, that's too much for me. 😂
