Humanity Is Taking a Huge Risk Right Now…

In this video, we reflect on the precarious position humanity is in right now. Why do things feel so weird—like they are falling apart, always on the edge of chaos? What can we do as collectives and individuals to better deal with this feeling—and better prevent catastrophe from becoming reality? Are things really as bad and fatalistic as they might seem, or are we right where we might hope to be, soon to create and discover new and better destinies?

Not me. I have been hoping for collapse since childhood. But that's not where things are going. We will be owned and controlled by corporations. Entirely. Government by or for the people is shaking its death rattle.

Intro is a little dramatic but mostly correct. The problem is that idiots are not getting educated by the internet, they are fueling their own ignorance and missinformation.

All technology and development in science has done is expose the basis human conditions. Remeber everyone thought that internet will unite us all beyond boundaries and everything. But I just made human's bad behaviour worse. We started to create our own country inside internet. People who accept us and people who get along with us.
Rest we hate them for having different view beyond us. As chalire is two and half men put, "she won't sit and work with this family instead, she will create her own family, that's how mom thinks". We are all one way or another Evelyn. That's it.

There is nothing to fear. Death is unavoidable, so this reality is just your experience before death. If life is a bad experience then death isn’t so scary, and if you navigate the challenges of life skillfully you should be satisfied upon death.

Why are we so lean to replicate similar beings consciousness like ourselves with technology like A.I?
Why don't we just make it possible to communicate with the consciousness of nature like creatures??

I think as a species we are not teenagers anymore but more at age 27… lots of people who have unresolved childhood trauma and addictions die at age 27… humanity is a traumatised addict…

I remember when my grandmother was still alive 10 years ago who was born in 1920, she remembered the first car that entered her town. They did not have a telephone at home because it was for the rich. There was no TV, no commercial airplanes, no computers, they used candles still, you get the idea.
Now I was showing her videos on my smartphone, and I realised how INSANELY fast the world had changed only during her life time.
It's crazy and not healthy…. I always felt sorry for the old people, who before had wisdom and knowledge to share with the youth.
Now they were hopeless and "dumb". I remember teaching my grandmother how to use e-mail when I was 12….

Some people work hard enough to deserve hundreds of billions of dollars, some don't deserve enough money for the medication they rely on to survive, enough food to eat, or shelter over their heads, or heat in the winter. And they can't even exist in a tent. Do you all not have a problem with this yet? How can you people see the homeless as the issue? Imagine a kid's birthday party, bunch of pizza, and one kid says, " I deserve to eat 90% of the pizza cause I got an A on my math test!" and every kid just being like, OK, but can we take the pizza from the weird kid at least? As long as we can take that kids pizza, you can eat that 90%! You earned it!" It's BIZARRE…coming from an intentionally socially ostracized hermit observing from a fly on the wall perspective.

Also…I have spent some time coming to the conclusion that humans have never been a social species. That is a lie fed to us by capitalist slave masters. We are a COMMUNAL species. And we have lost our sense of community due to hyper individualization, globalization, etc. We don't prosper from socialization, we prosper from communal systems. GDP is not human prosperity.

California spent $800,000 USD to remove a homeless encampment of I think it was 32 people. Do the math. It's literally cheaper to house them than to decamp them. Humans are angry and thirsty to punish. Always have been. It's not a recent thing. It's recent how fast we can do it to each other due to globalization and, in a nutshell, the internet. But it's not new. I am not that old, but people weren't better to each other in the 90's when I grew up (born in second half of the 80's). I doubt they were better in the 1930s, or the 1810's, etc. We just refuse to acknowledge the hate and thirst for blood within ourselves, every generation blaming it on the last. Sure, we inhabit the world we inherit, but we can collectively choose to do better…to be better….to be good and decent and kind. It's just not the path of least resistance we all subconsciously crave. Goodness takes effort and sacrifice. It's impossible to be "good" passively. At best, you are indifferent. Goodness takes action. Your intent can be good but unless you do something with it, it remains just that…intent. Do good. Be good. Cheers all. We can do better. I know we can. But we have to chose it. There is no savior. Only us.

In my opinions probably the worst about this all is how difficult it feels to talk to people… It's paradoxical that we have technically the eaisest access to each other, but we are nonetheless in a loneliness epidemic.

When the majority of a countries population has empathy and understand of the difference between right and wrong they will support decisions of a Government aimed at the "Common good" . When selfishness and greed are the driving force in a population you get what we have now, and the quality of the politicians are a symptom of the dis-eased population The mis quote from Edmund Burke identifies the fact that evil will rise when ever good people do not take action to suppress it. words are just procrastination.

If you look for validation in other humans who themselves for validation you will never find it. It's like looking for water in a desert from other thirsty people. Turn to living waters. Christ is King

You just completely shattered my worldview. I'm not kidding. This solves the hard problem of consciousness.

The hard problem of consciousness has essentially been the one thing about a purely matieralistic view on the nature of the universe and my apparent existence within it that prevents ne from having a purely materialistic view. Why I am I here? What is it exactly about the laws of nature that either imparts or requires that this meat suit I inhabit actually have a subjective experience. Why not just make us robots? It seems an awfully weird extra thing for nature to innately include.

But if a creator made a universe which was good, of course it would want to share it with those that can experience it in a way that we would. It's no different from a game seveloper wanting a free experience to the player or an artist wanting a clear view of a painting.

I suspect I'm only scratching the surface but this is profound. Like it really sounds like an answer to the hard problem of consciousness. Is that on purpose? Or obvious?

Unfortunately a big part of global instability are corporations who profit from making as much global instability as possible.
Their intention isn’t global instability, it’s just that the most efficient method for them to make as much profit as possible has the side effect of creating global instability.
If the world is held by many strings, corporations are cutting strings not because they want to see the world fall, but because they can sell that string for a profit.

“Daily life for most people is generally consistent and safe.” What a privileged take. Go tell that to the homeless in your area. Tell it to the people of Gaza, of Congo, Sudan, Haiti, Ukraine, Syria, etc. Tell it to the majority of children on the planet experiencing some form of abuse. Or to the staggering numbers of people being kidnapped and trafficked. Tell it to black and brown people in America who have been unsafe since the country was built on our backs with our oppression as the bricks and mortar. I’m so tired of watching videos with a white supremacist bias, as if the experience of the minority of whites on the planet is the only experience that matters. Then you talk about how bad things used to be. Childbirth was a death trap, starvation a constant threat, blah blah blah. Are you talking about when you decided to not learn from those who understand and live in harmony with nature? When you decided to displace, ethnically cleanse, pillage and r*pe the keepers of the land? Because proper techniques have been known for centuries on how to handle these things. This video is yet another perpetuation of lies from the white man. You know which humans have always kept the balance and stability of the Earth? The same ones being affected by the same catastrophes you think are too heavy to concern yourself with learning about.

I was born in 1998 and i remember a childhood before phones and everyone being connected to the internet. For a brief time it felt like there was a "sweet spot", before all the culture war BS and people buying a new phone every year for $1000. We had internet and games on our PS2's but me and my friends would be at the park every week playing football and basketball, doing stupid shit like having sword fights with big sticks and whatnot. No drugs or alcohol at all since our parents would have killed us if we did that lol. Now it feels crazy, i see 12-13 year olds smoking cigarettes outside schools, so many people doing weed that i can smell it almost every time i go outside, kids that are barely 11 making the most vulgar sex jokes and references i've ever heard. Hell i didn't even know about masturbation until i was like 16 back then, i watched my first porn video when i was 17 and before that it was just bikini magazines to get off to.

I don't know man im just 27 and i feel like an old man already in this world.

No. I am taking no risk. I am sure someone out there is taking a risk on behalf of everyone. And I am sure it is one that I did not tell them to take. Don't put this on "humanity".
