Byron Donalds may have won the GOP nomination for Florida governor but all is not well in Maga land, as much of James Fishback’s work to undermine his candidacy along racial grounds isn’t easily walked back. Put simply: Much of his base still refuses to vote for a Black man.
We used to think the Trump endorsement was enough but not anymore. Cory Mills just joined a group of 11 candidates and growing that Trump endorsed who didn’t even make it out of the Primary, including Mike Lindell, Pamela Evette & Andy Ogles. I suppose it makes sense when he’s thee least popular President we’ve ever seen!

Gee, this feels familiar… "I vote not for this guy, but against the other guy." I am honestly shocked they picked him over Fishback, granted Fishback was also the WORST choice Florida could choose (yet very much on brand)

I remember the local FBA chapter down here gave James fishback a whole playbook to run against Byron, “he’s not FBA” this guy started saying that, he said it on Tucker Carlson, they made him feel so comfortable to the point , that he was being straight up racist! , talking about lynching folks! These FBA rather support a racist than support a melaninated man with Jamaican ancestry. FBA is the new KKK, just in black face!
