As far as the dog buttons go, we tried them with my Border Collie Jack Russel mix who’s super smart. She became absolutely DRUNK with power!
After a bit of training, it was like she realized she could ask for whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted, and it became a problem lol.
For example, we did some buttons for the different foods she eats including “milk” for this goat milk she drinks as a special treat and she asked for it constantly, like a kid asking for cookies lol. A button we had to just pick up because she hit it so much was “Grandma.” After a full day out, at like 8pm on a week day, she’d be absolutely demanding to see “grandma.” She would hit it, stare expectantly, run in a circle, go to the door, run back, hit it again, stare, and so on. If I ignored her, she’d start hitting “hello” and “mom,” “mom,” “mom,” “mom.” Literally, a toddler having discovered language and its effects on the world.
She has a doggy door, so we never needed the practicality of buttons for something like asking to go outside. However, she definitely knew what “walk” meant. Anytime I sat down with my laptop to work in the evenings, shed say “walk” “walk” excitedly and go grab her leash. I couldn’t figure out how to convince her that my answer was no, so I always ended up caving. Which, I know lol is noooot what’s recommended 🤷🏻♀️
In the end, I picked most of them up 😅, having gotten tired of being asked for impossible tasks, surrendering to inconvenient exercise, and making her “puzzle” after “puzzle.”
The collie in her is just a little too focused, it makes her great at her job as a service dog, but boy howdy, does it make her umm persistent when off duty. In the end, as a service team, we already had such an effortless nonverbal understanding and communication, I decided to stick with that.

The perception is that lightning round videos are lazy. People are used to you doing all kinds of research and teaching them on a deeper level.

Mathematics
Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org › wiki › Mathematics
Mathematics is a field of study that discovers and organizes methods, theories and theorems that are developed and proved for the needs of empirical sciences.. Singular.

I actually didn't think about that. Humans using war is really kind of "stress testing" ourselves. It's like black hat hacking; someone gets hacked, the company figures out how they did it, and they fix that specific vulnerability. War is designed to take advantage of the enemy's weakness.

Guilty as charged. I mostly skip lightning round videos because I looove deep dives, so short quick vague answers are not satisfying at all. But I can see how they can be appealing to others, especially for those who got their names on screen and got their answers. So yeah, you do you.
Oh, and this title is so misleading it just adds to disappointment, unfortunately

Imagine if you were sat on your own one day with just your dog laid at your feet and suddenly the dog stands up, looks at you and says "no one's ever going to believe you you know" and then never uttered a single word ever again!😏😏

Fun fact. My old cat did that same limp trick. She hurt her front leg as a kitten, and right up until she died she would either limp or hold up her leg in the "this is hurt" position to get more attention.

In English mathematics can be singular! No one ever said English is easy or logical.
How about American English saying “I could care less” makes no sense!
The English English saying “ I couldn’t care less “ because it’s meant to be a put down 😂

13:22 – We do a similar thing here in Australia. I don't know if this goes for all Australians or just for myself and the people around me, but I tend to call the subject you do in school Maths (like it's Maths class rather than Math class, and that just makes more sense to me), however you DO math, so you do math in maths class, you get me? I honestly didn't even realise that Americans didn't call it maths tbh 😅😂
But yeah, that's my take on it as an Aussie hahaha. 😅
Edit: The 'when maths goes wrong' title, I also agree that's wrong 😂 in that context, it would be math. I think we as Australians, or at least just myself only really ever call it maths in school…Tbh, this is really messing with my head now and it's making me rethink my entire dialect 😭
Btw, if there are any other Aussies in the chat, can you lmk if you do similar things, or if it's just me, am really quite curious to know now 😂
