Hear me out…it’s impossible to hoard that much capital without being at minimum a narcissist, which should be fundamentally disqualifying from having power. It should be impossible to hoard that much power/capital by any one person in a functional and productive society.

Thanks for breaking down ridiculous AI marketing stories & hype
Bill Gates gave lectures in Silicon Valley about donating $ for good causes so EA isn't new just another version
& Anthropic partnered with Palantir making EA donating $ to stop long term risks hypocritical

So when to they start to 2nd part??
Elon has say he only give his money to a charity he say is 'worth' it, so far it seem the only 'charity' is to himself

"You're being saved, do not resist!" But seriously though, it really clicks how they get so many people desperate about open source Chinese models on media. It's literally open source, the thing OpenAI was meant to be, yet THEY want to be the holy saviours of mankind.

These lovely shekel goblins providing mosquito netting (as an example you used, unironically!), caused a fishing/ecosystem collapse in Africa due to overfishing as they were used as fishings nets. They have their own 'traditional' ways to deal with malaria.

    Exculpatory Solipsism.

FTX now seems like the beta test scam vehicle, the seed funder for the ever-bigger scams in AI.
Situational Awareness is the mini-FTX in this parable. Less competent, and somehow still not in jail.
