I attended a SLADE concert in British Columbia, Canada in June, 1976. I absolutely loved the show. They opened with Hear Me Calling. And they played Gudbuy t' Jane….the song that had brought them to my attention a couple years earlier. I was ecstatic. One of my favourite concerts of the many I have attended through the years.

Love Slade , in the early 70’s they were like my football team followed the fanatically & still love them til this day . Just as an aside Johnny & Joey Ramone love Slade & have often cited them as a big influence

I saw Slade in 1973 and 1974 in Cleveland….they were great and so effen loud…lol…I was the only one in the audience who knew their sideways thumb salote…Jim Lea was quite impressed…my parents also liked them a lot….great interview with Dave Hill….

The loudest concert I’ve ever been to was when Mountain was the headliner and Slade was the opening act at the Capital Theatre in Passaic New Jersey. I want to say 1974. Slade was a fun band to see.

The Grateful Dead, should have been called The Awful Dead, as all they produced amounted to nothing more than hours of inept jamming.
Slade were popular because they could play and had strong songs.
Nice to see that Dave is going strong!
