Bare feet and a smile, met nicko once years ago. He’s got a great personality and his humour is top. Always been my favourite drummer. He genuinely has fun and loves it, makes him an outstanding musician.

First song I ever learned how to fully play was Run To The Hills at like 12-13. It's a Clive Burr song, but Nicko has been a huge influence for me. I fucking love Maiden. Seen them 3 times 🤘

Nicko's style fit Maiden so well!! The man can play anything! His fills on some of Maiden's biggest songs are legendary. Just enough flair but not so much to take away from the rest of the band. The perfect backstop in a band! Sad that age and suffering a stroke caused his decline. I will always give him the utmost respect for him to be playing admirably after coming back from suffering a stroke!! And his humor, he was obviously that character of the band! Always a smile on his face! Am sure his humor is missed on the road!! Will always appreciate Nicko's 42 years behind the kit of my favorite band that I first became a fan of in 1982!!

All the maiden songs have awesome drum and love playing those song , he’s as creative as Lara from Metallica. I wouldn’t think of the things they’ve come up with for songs . Metal rules 🤟
