Angry Video Game Nerd (AVGN) episode 191: 3DO Interactive Multiplayer. The 3DO gaming console has been talked about before on AVGN, in the Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties episode. But, the Nerd is back to review some of the other awful games for the system, however, there are a few gems in there too. The “REAL” 3DO Interactive Multiplayer was a game console hardware platform originally released in 1993 (with the first models released by Panasonic and other models released by other companies in 1994.) Cheap production cost of CDs led to a large amount of shovelware being released for the system. In this review, the Nerd covers Gex, Road Rash, DOOM, Way of the Warrior, Crash N Burn, Soccer Kid, Battle Chess, Street Fighter II, Alone in the Dark, Cyberia, PO’d, Demolition Man, Virtuoso, a bunch of American Laser Games stuff (Mad Dog McCree and Crime Patrol), and more.

    When I was 12 going on 13-years-old going to Epcot center's Innovations/Sega on 1994: I've seen the 3DO there even though that event had Sega games; there are two 3DO games there: Crash n' Burn and Road Rash. I left playing Road Rash (3DO) because of the loading screen I never understood before, because I was accustomed to cartridge based video games.

    I had the top loading Panasonic version. I also got a Super Nintendo controller adapter. It made all the games so much better for controlling. Street fighter was super fun.

    Logically if you believe in divergent evolution you have to entertain the theory that our original fish ancestor didn't only migrate to the land.
    What that leaves us is a species that had just as much scope for potential as us and just as long for evolution .
    Had their been any 'intermingling ' early in their development that could have left them with the potential for similar adaptation outcomes due to so similar metabolism and base frame but modified. With potentially similar brains and comparable intelligence.
    Now consider similar processes going on on similar planets billions of years before us that are now millions of years in advance of us..
    We would be nothing more than a child's ant farm to them.
    Although to be fair we are a source of entertainment medium for them.. music for example..that no ant farm could ever hope to compete with..
    So who knows what could be down their…but we know there are not fish people with every trans persons wished for magical power of being able to change sex at will RTD !!!

    I'm a pretty big fan actually, your the only YouTuber I put on for background noise to this day. Your newest avgn episode was the 1st I introduced myself as a prophet of Jesus Christ I believe, the next day the first bg episode of your channel ol Algo gave featured a young Kirk Cameron in a 3do game, a somewhat coincidental situation considering how outspoken he has become since than, nobody ever had to have that kind of zeal, and I assume the church misled him like it has always done. The Mormon prophet only got 1 prophasy correct, every religion and their so called houses of God in his days were all corrupted and fell into apostasy less than 1k years after we all murdered Jesus. A wise man once said in my experience there is no such thing as luck, I agree 100 and add coincidence to that. Yes the same wiseman went on to complain about hokey religions as well, but his galaxy unfortunately did not get "lucky" enough to have a Christ die for them so they can be spiritually free as well as politically free in their galaxy. I am looking to unify all galaxies and ideologies under the same universal banner of peace, love and freedom under the protection and guidance of our Lord Christ Jesus for all eternity or there about.     I used to play Dungeons and Dragons: Slayer on the 3DO. I remember it being pretty fun. The Staff of Levitation had me speed-running levels. And Soccer Kid was weird. If your soccer ball popped, you were screwed! No means of attack. And it was easy to do so! šŸ¤£It was also on SNES. Loved the music though.
