Interesting! At 5:39, I see Abi was still going by the surname "Lennard" at this time. I'm watching through all of the videos on this channel in chronological order looking for when she changed it to "Thorn".

Man I don't have access to the journals anymore either, I am trying to research cannabis for pain and I luckily downloaded all the journals from that time the subject but I want to know more. I tried to go to graduate school on this and apparently this is super verboten in the US. It sucks because I may have found a cure for a rare disease using cannabis.

a way to get academic resources: ematriculate at a german, danish or dutch university, you dont have to pay anything and if you fail theyll throw you out after 6 months. 6 months where you can have the resources you need.

hello. If you try to get access to academic materials, then instead of writing to universities, write to concrete people, researchers, phd students, lower ranks, they have access and they can share, and they know what youtube is. Good luck. Also you can enroll in a phd programs which are free, lot of them in Europe

I had a very similar experience with my intro to philosophy. Decided between it and psychology because it fit my schedule better. Had a phenomenal prof and happened to be pretty good at it too.

Do you think you could do a video on what gives human life worth/value? I understand the Utilitarian perspectives for example, but a lot of the other theories confuse me.

Really like your work, to get academic papers you should try Scihub (the ".x" bit changes frequently so just type Scihub into Google). Alternatively you can try #icanhazpdf on twitter. Or you can email the lead authors, they are usually pretty receptive

Well, should there be some paper you want/need, I'd gladly use my access to get it for you. Besides, I tend to spend my free time reading burrowing down whatever philosophical rabbit hole I particularly fancy at the moment anyways, so I can just get some more reading material that way. 😉
Any chance you'll end up doing anything on the philosophy of physics? Math?
