Man I loved those first videos a ton would watch them many times, you have such a nice passionate way of discussing music you enjoy and through the vast array of different artists and genres it always feels like we're going on a great musical journey
Also Adrianne Lenker's Anything is just a beautiful choice, impeccable taste. Song so raw and gorgeous it brings a tear to my eye just hearing it mentioned
Also as a Metalhead seeing that the Metal-discovery-journey has brought you to Ghost definitely fills my soul with joy

Let's go. You should do these updates everytime you feel like the list has updated quite a bit. You've changed my outlook on music from your lists.
Obviously not the same list but made me look on music in a different light.

Don't call it your 100 favorite songs and then not include multiple songs from the same artist. it would be more accurate to say 100 songs I like.

Back when I was 15, your first two top 100 videos shaped my taste and showed me that music could be a lot more interesting than weird al, hamilton, and various pop hits I grew up with. Awesome to see a new one all these years later, and proud to say I walked away with 8 new songs on my playlist after the first watch.
You are not alone in your love of a good beat; a unique, expressive vocalist; and a strong melody. You're doing god's work. Can't wait for part 2!!!

As a big big Big Thief and Adrianne Lenker fan, I’m very glad that you mentioned Anything, and I gotta say that Adrianne is so talented that I could probably dig 5 to 10 songs that I personally think she has written better than this wonderful piece of art

Omg if you like prog rock mixed with your metal, please check out Opeth they are easily my favorite band ever.
Specifically the album Damnation, it’s a really pretty soft rock album they made in the middle of this insane run of absolutely wild, groundbreaking progressive death metal projects and Damnation is one of the softest and most somber things I’ve ever heard.
Great list too!
