I'm still trying to understand, the only UN general that try to stop all the genocide was general DALLAIER. He basically before the genocide have information of people who have weapons hidden in all Rwanda and the UN just told him not to proceed.
I mean it was obviously that embassadors from each international embassy in the country knew something was going to happen and they let it happen. Was like they believed the only solution was the genocide since all nations saw that this UN peace proposal was never going to happen.
Seriously they let it happen and even the french agree to this horrible solution. The french help all the Rwanda army with: Machetes brought from China, Assault rifles from France, old British rifles from the black market and obviously AK 47 rifles and ammunition.
I still believe that the once who killed the president were the same HUTU army and the once who creat this genocide as part of a well organized planed.
I'm actually glad that the rebels are the once in power but I'm actually worry a little. Because when president dies today, what will be next??, the same peace today or someone else will try to rise to power.

Remember the UN were saying there was no genocide, and that's why they let it continue and Belgian rule formalized racial divisions between Hutus and Tutsis, favouring the Tutsi minority before supporting a Hutu revolution in the late 1950s that led to independence. Who was sending all the Machetes and who allowed the president to be killed. It showed how useless the UN was and still is today.

The amount of people trying to shift any blame away from the Europeans possible is shameful. Europeans were the ones who created these tensions and conditions between the Hutus and Tutsis. They were the ones who made sure to establish the practice of marking papers as Hutu or Tutsi. They encouraged this tension to build.
