Reggies in Chicago 2014-ish… Kataklysm was playing, and one of the venue’s regular security guys had recently passed away. Kataklysm was one of his favorites, so all of the other security regulars were letting loose in the pit with everyone else the whole night – in tribute to their fallen friend. ❤

In 1995 I was 18 in Perth Western Australia. Went to see Deicide on there Once upon the cross tour. They played a club which never did metal. Odd but who cared. During the support act which was a local band called Downer. One security guard laughed and said I thought metal fans went hard. 10 minutes into Deicide he was clearly in distress with all the stage divers and people pushing. Wish you all could see his face.
