I like this movie, and The Dark Phoenix. Mainly because I really don't care about story or anything. I just like when overly powerful people, mostly women, are just being overly powerful

Nerdy nitpick here… is Magneto, like, subconsciously continuing to support the bridge after he lands it on the island? 'Cause otherwise suspension bridges don't work that way. Take away the supports and what exactly is it suspended from? It would just collapse…
Jean Grey was awesome in that scene, but fuck this movie was baaaaaaaaaaaaad compared to the first 2.
Best scene in an X-Men movie IMO? Mystique's "because we shouldn't have to" in X2. No crazy light shows required…

No complaints with the video, but I don't think it supports the thesis of her being powerful than Thanos (at least via the gauntlet), her powers have a very limited range, the halfening applied to the entire universe.

Halle Berry was a good choice for Storm? Inserts scene "Do you know what happens to a toad when it is struck by lightning?" I respectfully disagree.

Hey T1J a big fan. I know you’ve said before that you don’t have a problem with voting 3rd party even in this election. I was wondering if you were familiar with #unity2020 which is designed to not spoil the election. I’m not happy with either major candidate so I’d much rather vote for someone like Andrew Yang. The problem is the Phoenix Saga was a deep, character driven narrative, not a flash in the special effects pan. Treating it the way they did ruined the whole story. Worse, it's now pretty well spoiled the whole story for FUTURE use as well.

I was the same. First time I saw it and was like”I loved it.” Then getting it on DVD next thing I’m not as into it. Then it became “Scarlett Phoenix” but I totally understand why it changes over awhile.

i've been looking for that magneto fox…ugh 'terrorist' threat for hours now and I am superbly curious as to how it plays out. (I'm sure it won't play because of the MalcomX parallels but hey America (the shit I live in) won't allow that kind of talk during our own social climate now

There is soooo much you can say about that final X3 battle. The most telling moment of the whole move though. Magneto's one line. It reveals everything about how he truly views the people (including mutants) around him.

Respect for doing something from X3, i didnt really realize how much people disliked this movie until watching this playlist.
