one problem with this… one lady mentions "we're cooking with gas"…. That's offensive to the environmentalists, so a retraction would have to be made, a public apology to any environmentalists that could be privy to this discussion and sensitivity training…

As someone transitioning from a blue collar job to a government job, this is something I’m not looking forward to. Red tape can be such a headache!

Obviously you've never worked for the government. It's much…much MUCH worse than this. I didn't even make it a year knowing that I had to pay taxes the rest of my life. Much better just to quit and pretend they are in the same neighborhood as competent…but its not the the same neighborhood. Or city. Or state. Or country. Or planet….the folks running you're government make Forrest Gump look like a damn genius. If you imagine the most unqualified person you've ever met, that person would be the head honcho in the government. The level of fraud/waste/abuse is honestly stupid scary.
