Hey everybody! Thanks for watching this video on “Why is Pop-Punk so NOSTALGIC?”. I’ve always loved this genre and it’s so confusing to me that people always just label it as some nostalgic guilty pleasure. This category of music (which — I’m including emo, emo pop, a little power pop, you know what I mean) is a genuinely good stress reliever. It’s healthy to try and exercise your dramatic, “negative” emotions through music. People are always so open about flaunting their joy and happiness…and I think those same people bury those other emotions down and everything eventually explodes because of it. But with a moderate dose of pop-punk in your musical diet…you can keep a solid balance. I’m rambling now. Hope you like the video. Hope I don’t sound too crazy. I’ve been working on this for like 24 hours straight. K love you bye.
