In March of 2018, the City of Atlanta, Georgia suffered a cyber security breach. The Hackers managed to gain files associated with many key pieces of infrastructure in the city and then held those files for ransom. The hackers demanded bitcoin in exchange for releasing the files back that the city needed to operate. However, Atlanta wouldn’t pay the ransom. What started was a race against time, could Atlanta figure out a way around the files lost before the time was up? Lets find out.
