I wonder how adversely the Boeing astronauts will be affected by their unexpected and grossly extended space stay, given that their craft likely doesn't have the facilities necessary to negate the physical effects of weightlessness.

What wonderful benefit to society would space colonization have? The generation living at the outset and their children's children would never see a benefit. Same for the moronic concept of mining space objects. The sooner we relegate this nonsense to fiction the better. Stop wasting money on acts that will have consequences that will never be properly contemplated before taking action. It could well end up killing the generations that were supposed to benefit.
