TIMELAPSE of Future Space Stations

Venture City | September 27, 2024

What happens when humanity begins living in space, building larger space stations, and creating a purely space based economy. Space drones will deliver goods between stations, farming stations will grow food, and space hotels will host celestial events and viewing parties for eclipses and welcoming parties for spaceships returning from Mars.

This sci-fi documentary takes a look at the future of space stations and space technology, starting with the retiring of the International Space Station, and ending with the construction of the largest rotating ring world space station, with its own atmosphere and lakes that evaporate creating clouds and rain.

Other topics in this video include: stealth based technology and metamaterials, the future of Starship Mark 2, cryo refuelling in space, Moon space stations, the Mars Colony, asteroid mining station, future space telescope stations, design concepts, and cryo sleep,

Very imaginative and well thought out. And I appreciate how you didn't candy coat the future. No paradise. Social issues and economic tensions are large parts of life. And it's about encountering new environmental and technical problems as fast as we solve old ones. That makes this projection authentic and plausible. However, I'm still skeptical about the whole idea of developing human habitats beyond near Earth. Possible, but not practicable.

I like the quality of these videos, they are so well made and full of exaggerated hopes for humanity. It resembles a fantastic escapist utopia that ignores the reality of the current state of affairs in our world.

Unfortunately this is all science fiction! Humans will never have space ships or space stations with gravity and Mars is probably the farthest mankind will go in spacer. There will never be a self-sustaining million people city on Mars!

If any thinkers can make a good video game, it may be these… Then you just need an idea, like instead of the Civ series where you go from then to naow, go from naow to the infinite (Spore was good, but was it good enough?)

I didn’t see anything here about reconciliation for 500 years of genocide in cities built by slaves, for people who have murdered 36 million indigenous peoples since and including viet nam. 9 countries destroyed and 6 million murdered in the last 20 year alone. The Nazis would be jealous of you didn’t take in all the important ones and put the swastika in the compass for all those paying attention to see clear as day.

I thank God I was born in 1979 I got to see so much technology go up in such small matter of time the 80s were a weird smooth family time everywhere schools and home such peace poor but peaceful and the 90s was so much in technology and school so much help from this country the early 2000s were just a mix of all now is a confusing time but we are getting through it I only wish we aged a bit slower they say we are but we will see

This is a SpaceX advertisement. The way things are going now, SpaceX will get to the moon and find Chinese intra-system service-stations, Indian 7-11's and a couple of Japanese SpaceSushi restaurants waiting for them…
