Today’s video is discussing a strange song that is extremely stuck in one, specific time period. “Swagger Jagger” by Cher Lloyd is the epitome of early 2010’s style, fashion, culture, sound, etc. We’re looking at her rise to fame on The X Factor, the origin of the song itself, the reaction to it, and the impact it may have had on the music industry at large.

i think cher lloyd deserves the same kind of hype as charli xcx. she has such a fun vibe, she’s always serving vocals, and all her music is danceable, catchy, and easy to sing along to. she should be a main pop girl

It was a very simple time when word "swag" is still a thing, Justin Bieber still rocking that bowl cut, and mosyly every pop song has a rapper verse in it.

Swagger Jagger wasn’t a chart hit outside of the UK. If anything, ANYTHING from her peak era were hits and not Swagger Flopper.

Never heard of this song before, I know all the other songs mentioned. But I've also never seen an episode of The X Factor.
