So many Indigenous have bought into the myths imagined up by the mayolib hippies that Indigenous people lived in peace with each other. The reality is that they didn't. Destructive war and atrocities were very common and even genocides were a regular occurrence before the first European even stepped foot on the land and began settling in the Americas.
