Iāve recently started doing the carnivore diet, and your video just confirmed the health benefits of controlling my blood sugars better.
I take two oral meds for DM2, and was heading for insulin due to A1c >10 and blood sugars so high my CGM couldnāt measure them.
Since starting the carnivore diet about 7 weeks ago my BGs go over 200 only after a meal but then go down to <150. And my A1c for last few weeks is less than 8.
Please continue to give us your intelligent videos on health issues. We need a voice of reason in this diet crazed world.

Looks like it may not be sugar. Seed oils, specifically partially hydrogenated (in processing) seed oils that have been completely stripped of antioxidants produce very high levels of oxidative stress on LDLs producing the oxidative effects that cause them to misbehave. Bookmark this, within 20 years highly processed seed oils will be banned in the EU, US, and Canada because they are the primary cause of heart disease and diabetes. Refined sugar without the antioxidants found in fruits is probably contributing, but sugar itself is probably not the cause.

Johnny, YOU are saving my life! I had a Widowmaker MI on 2 January 2024, with LDL of 102 and HDL of 63. I had been trying to get my LDLs down, and doing all the wrong things for a couple years. Then I started watching your videos, and figured out what the doctors seemed to have thought I should have just KNOWN without ever having been told!!! Less than a month after my heart attack, I had my LDL down to 31 and my HDL down to 63! And I did it by what YOU taught me in your videos!!! Thank you, young man, THANK YOU!!!

To think that I was drinking skim milk for decades, losing out on body and flavor, based entirely on a lie that fat is bad for you and intake should be minimized.

It's not even the LDL that's 'bad' … it's the apolipoproteins that have a direct correlation with atherosclerosis. Blood tests can't measure their quantities because they are way smaller than both HDLs and LDLs. Hence, the lazy marketing by the mid-20th century food industry to demonise cholesterol.
Also, cholesterol is neither a fat nor a protein, it's an alcohol (thus the -ol suffix).
Ps good vid my lad!
