Hunter Thompson did not commit suicide. Hunter Thompson was murdered because he was investigating a child pdf ring that involved the highest levels of government. His videographer was murdered and robbed a few weeks later.

I was a huge Gonzo fan. When he died I heard that story and unraveled the webpage that included some really impressive evidence but I never actually believed it. When Puzza Gate happened, I hunted down that website and all the sudden the conspiracy didn’t sound as insane as it initially did – but still I couldn’t bring myself to believe it was possible for a massive child pdf ring could exist to serve the highest levels of our government. Needless to say, when uncle Jeff was finally exposed I searched out the website which no longer exists.

If I was younger with more free time I would explore the Gospels as viewed through the lens of Gonzo Journalism. I think there’s some resonance there with the participant-observer paradox and weaving fiction to make the portrayal more accurate than a flat historical treatment.

I want to find literature of his to find out what he was about but all I can find is his fear an loathing in las vegas. The one of him at the Kentucky derby, and recommendations for more gonzo journalism. Am I supposed to read thoes and pick apart what he thought? Because from what ive seen I dont think his drug ventures were not the extent of his charachter but its all thats suggested to me.

There is no meaning in anything outside of your own conscience. Of the people you encounter in your life, only a miniscule portion will remember you more than ten minutes after your interaction. The US is the one place in the world where you can completely change your life and become almost anything you want, but only if you are willing to do whatever it takes, lie, cheat, steal, work long hours and sacrifice. Alternatively, you can be someone who just follows the stream of life and let the world and other people determine what you become. The US is still the wild west but what most of the rest of the world doesn't realize is that it is how most Americans like it. More freedom and less structure equals more opportunity bust also more risk. The rope around your waist that protects you from falling off the cliff also keeps you from climbing to new heights.

Dark, but has the ring of truth … an updated version of this …

"Thus, Norse society’s structure created a conflict between the short-term interests of those in power, and the long-term interests of the society as a whole. Much of what the chiefs and clergy valued proved eventually harmful to the society. Yet the society’s values were at the root of its strengths as well as of its weaknesses. The Greenland Norse did succeed in creating a unique form of European society, and in surviving for 450 years as Europe’s most remote outpost. We modern Americans should not be too quick to brand them as failures, when their society survived in Greenland for longer than our English-speaking society has survived so far in North America. Ultimately, though, the chiefs found themselves without followers. The last right that they obtained for themselves was the privilege of being the last to starve."

THE MAN WAS A GOOD WRITER AND AN ADDICT. He was like every other addict who does not surrender. Nothing about his death was romantic or beautiful. He would have been a better writer without the substances

The irony of his life, which we sense but struggle to articulate is this: perhaps such a man who battles with the futility of his own existence and peers out to tell others about their existence, in fact knows nothing about truth at all…

I came here for the thumbnail and some of the title grasped the attention deficit disorder I have, so I clicked but,
Not one minute in and unfortunately I was just quickly distracted & then immediately disappointed.

You sound all angry man! And slow down! I couldn't stay long enough to get through to the end, but I did like and subscribe. Im just being honest. Thanks.
