All I hear from this band is well executed rip offs, to sound like every band they listen to, or the bands they think their fans might listen to. To my ear, there’s nothing sonically that would make me recognize them as themselves.

"five seventy" had me in tears. i always read it as "five seven zero/oh" cuz its supposed to reference the first 3 letters of the phone number for the area of PA theyre from and where im from too

I saw them at a small venue in NC in 2010 and while not knowing of them going into the show after they performed and got a chance to talk with Chris for awhile and he was the most down to earth genuine dude I had ever met. Have been a fan ever since.

You should have mentioned the song "Meltdown" (from 2024) becaue this was the song that totally blew me away the most
I think it has the heaviest and grooviest instrumentals (guitar) of any their songs yet, it almost sounds like a 7-string guitar (not sure if its just a 6-string with special effects)

Another great video . I seen them in New York with H.I.M back in 2015 I believe? Either way I do remember them being a great band and I actually hung out with them up in the balcony and watched H.I.M set with them. Nice guys on and off stage. I highly recommend you check them out live. Powerful music. And Fin , thanks again for sharing information about this band I had know idea about.

Till this day they are honestly my favorite band. For many reasons. I started listening to them when they wernt really known and i was really struggling through a lot of shit at the time but their music and they people that they are truly got me through my shit. Even now, when im dealing with stuff, i throw on their music, and i can just handle pretty much anything. Ive seen them live 5 times just themselves along with tours of them and other bands. No matter what, every show is insane. I will remember each one.

When I first saw them at mayhem fest when infamous came out I knew they would get big. What I like about them is they don't do what everybody else dose. They have a huge Industrial influence that I love.

It's wild seeing how far they've come. I saw them back in 2011 at a maybe 40 person venue in wichita ks, after the show my friends and I decided to go ding dong ditching in the area around the venue (which isnt a good area at all lmao) and my friend knocked over a trash can, long story short I got punched in the back of my head and Chris and the band were sitting outside of the venue and when I walked back over he ask "want us to go fuck that guy up?" I told him nah its good and that was that lol. glad to see them getting the success they deserve

Idk how u can say Ronnie is “hitting new heights”. Homie took almost decade to release a “new” album and it’s more then half made up of his assorted singles from that time. The songs are good but his output is pitiful and he’s just abysmally unprofessional. Pumping up that kind of behavior is awful for the industry. Love MiW tho! Funny that Ronnie picked a fight with them (cus apparently he thinks he owns lycanthropy or something) and Chris just blew him and his childishness off. Hilarious. Other than that this was a good video and very interesting to learn a few new things!

Not to mention… their shows are amazing!!! I seen them twice back to back years in Scranton. 1st with We Came As Roman's, Bvb, and INK. Then the following year was the inaugural Apocalypsefest. The 2nd year much better than the first. They tore that shit up!!! He's a great showman up there as well. Chris seems like a genuinely good guy.. unless you ask Ronnie Radke.
Motionless has also started this new "genre" people are calling Octanecore. Everyone is trying to sound like them. But also a little more poppy like dayseeker. Then you have I Prevail who is more nu metal and hip hop scene I guess you could say.
It's very fascinating seeing this boom in metalcore and maybe because of Motionless In White and all the others that step out of the box and grasp fans from other genres. I used to listen to mostly divorced dad butt rock and nu metal but once I found out about metalcore probably 10 years ago because of reincarnate that's pretty much all I listen to mixed in with this new octanecore stuff.
I like with the new octanecore bands you hear influences from bands I grew up listening. Tons of Slipknot, Korn, Linkin Park sounds.

I was sprayed with a water gun by the lead singer of this band. It was back in 2010-2011 all stars tour in Pensacola Florida, during August. I didn’t know who he was until years later. Even though I’m sure they’re nice guys but I don’t buy their music choices. To many Marilyn Manson and 3 days grace sounding songs. Not tasteful to me. But who cares what I think lol
