In the final weeks of her presidential campaign, Kamala Harris has turned her attention toward Black people — especially Black men. She’s released a plan for Black men, gone on a Black media tour to talk about her Opportunity Agenda, and can be found in someone’s church every Sunday. Something about her efforts to court the Black community feels different. Democrats have known that they cannot win national elections without Black people, but In many ways, Kamala Harris is saying the quiet part out loud. In this video, we talk about why.
