INFO: The Raconteurs is a rock band from Detroit, Michigan that formed in 2005. Although from Detroit, the band is based in Nashville, Tennessee. On their website some time ago there was a statement that briefly explained how the band got together, and it goes like this: “The seed was sown in an attic in the middle of a hot summer when friends Jack White and Brendan Benson got together and wrote a song that truly inspired them. This song was ‘Steady, As She Goes’ and the inspiration led to the creation of a full band with the addition of Lawrence and Keeler.” In just a week’s time they’re gonna release their third album “Help Us Stranger” and i thought this would be a great occasion to talk a little bit more about their story. This is a brief introduction to The Raconteurs.
