Forgot maybe the most important thing, that she has Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, which probably caused the thyroid problems in some way too. It's a massively impactful condition and causes severe pain at times and reasonably bad at all other times, for most people.

I can thank Puddles Pity Party haunting cover for making me aware of the dark meaning of the song, a meaning I've lived many years of my life. Definitely appreciate what I thought was just a catchy party song that much more now…glad Sia got control over her substance use disorder like me.

With the suicidal aspect, I find myself wondering if 'swing from the chandelier' has more of a 'at the end of a rope' meaning to it…I'm one of those strange people who listen to the lyrics rather than just bop to the song, and caught the dark side of the song, but got a chill at the revelation about suicidal feelings. I may never hear that song again without seeing the noose in my mind, now…

And I have always seen "swing from the chandelier" as the traditional hanging yourself from the chandelier to commit suicide. It sounds like having fun like it's the last day on earth, swinging from the chandelier like the party animal the song makes them out to be. when in reality.. it is their last day on earth, and by the end of the night, when they are done holding on, they will be literally swinging from the chandelier.

Cool video. If I can give you a writing tip, when you compose your next script, do a search for the word "would." Then get rid of all or most of its usage, and change the verb tense to work.

some people were basically like… Oh, poor sia feels attacked and is trying to play the victim by saying she was suicidal.
Um, if any of you are actually Sia fans, you'd know her past history of mental illness, substance abuse and suicidal thoughts.
She was not bluffing… But more than a few were daring her to off herself. Fine, you didn't like her movie… Does she deserve to die for it?
We've been blessed with three incredible female vocalists since the millenia. Adele, Amy winehouse and yes, Sia Furler. I'd rather she not join Amy in that "concert in the sky", thank you very much!

I was obsessed with Sia. When I first heard her at a car ride with friend, I honestly cried hearing Chandelier for it resonated so much with me. She is a god with how she writes and had to know more of her music. Her track "Soon will be found" was my saving grace in a relationship turned sour. I'm lying if I say Sia did not help me go through my depressing life as a 20 year old back then.
