I think your female pop stars fighting game idea is really good. If you want it to be less toxic, maybe have the pop girls fight a different villain together? Like instead of Olivia and Sabrina fighting each other, you and your friend can play as them to work together in a multiplayer open world game and fight against some other character. Your idea has potential. Having Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, Ariana Grande, Charli XCX, Adele, Nicki Minaj, Lana Del Rey, Miley Cyrus, Doja Cat, etc. to choose to play with your friends and exploring places and fighting monsters and criminals would be so badass, plus the message would preach the opposite of "women fighting women", but rather preach the message of "women working and fighting together". Best of both worlds.

surprised iron maiden's ed hunter pc game wasn't mentioned! you play as Eddie (their mascot) and travel through levels based on iron maiden's album covers. it was a rail shooter, and was fun watching my dad play it as a kid. the music in it sounded very crunchy lmao, but then it again it did come out in 1999
