Senate Republicans Roasted to Oblivion Over Caitlin Clark / Atlanta Hawks Gaffe
Senator Eric Schmitt of Missouri thought this was his moment. Catching former AG Jack Smith in perjury, launching a media tour and hopefully a VP spot for 2028. Jack Smith went to see the Atlanta Hawks and met with Fani Willis and Nathan Wade to coordinate blah blah blah.But like gas prices and Trump’s pool numbers, just because you want it to be true doesn’t make it true. As is often the case with Maga, ambition and competence have no correlation, and even the most basic fact check wouldve tipped you off that Jack Smith was hundreds of miles away watching Caitlin Clack and the Iowa Hawkeyes. In fact, there’s evidence publicly available online, but even that was too much to ask. Eric Schmitt and Senate Republicans coordinated tweets, media, even blew up posterboard before ever even checking the facts. That’s Maga 2026.

Well… there WAS a time we had an NBA team (the Kings), and way back in ancient times we had an ABA team (the Spirits), but NOW… we're just full of Schmitt! Yep! The fact that this is how Congressional Boards have been allowed to be conducted is pathetic.
County level courtrooms have higher standards for behavior and conduct than what we continue to see from these MAGA led committees. And all of these personal attacks and grandstanding are on the record for that matter. When the gavels change hands in January, not only do I hope to see new asses in these seats, but a higher standard of conduct needs to accompany the changing of the guard.
