Hey everybody! Thanks for watching this video, “Remembering Jay-Z’s TERRIBLE “Monster” Verse”. As…some of you will know, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is my favorite album ever. “Monster” is an interesting track in the grand scheme of the project. Great concept, a couple of top tier features, arguably the best verse of the entire 2010’s…and then one of the greatest rappers/lyricists of all-time…putting in one of the worst verses of his career? …Huh? It’s weird! It’s funny! And once you get to the less funny part, it’s less funny! But regardless, it’s a fascinating moment in rap and it was fun to look back on. I’ve been awake for 36 hours straight. Good night.
