Quiet Riot is BACK! John Torra just made his live debut as the band’s new lead singer, and based on the footage and reports coming out of Oklahoma, he absolutely crushed it! In this video, I review the first show of this new Quiet Riot lineup, share my thoughts on Torra’s performance, and discuss what this could mean for the band’s future. Is this the beginning of a new chapter for Quiet Riot? Let’s talk about it!

Height and size should never matter. Talent should and John Tora has it just like 5ft 4 Arnel Pineda use to have it.

Love it for John and the band. Dude's born 2003 and I've commonly said Gen Z has way better taste than Millennials (and even late Gen X) obsessed with rap

Man, John is killing it! I feel as excited about Quiet Riot right now as I did when I was a kid and just had to pick up the Metal Health cassette after hearing their version of Cum on Feel The Noise and Metal Health and seeing those videos. John is really bringing that excitement and enthusiasm from what I've seem and hopefully we'll get some new Quiet Riot music with this lineup.

The guys look/sounded spectacular. YES they looked like they were having fun, Rudy didn’t look a day over 23 out there.
I’m a super huge QR fan and so happy to see them get all this deserved attention.
I swear it sounded and looked so much like 1983! Not exactly but you can’t get any closer!!
Keep kick’n ass boys!

Torra is a great singer. I’m so proud of him.
I would never go see Quiet Riot but now that he’s in the band I would definitely go to see him. I saw the original Quiet Riot in the 80s and this kid is great!
Torra is likable. that’s the main thing and he has something about him that the people will love and he will do great.
@rticle15
October 2, 2026 at 6:56 pm
I honestly believe John Torra's story brings as many fans to see QR as they bring to see John Torra.

Stop worrying about original or the band today. It doesn’t matter, they are still doing what they love.

If it hasn't happened already, I predict there will be many fans in the crowd chanting "Torra! Torra! Torra!". 🤘🤘 Shout out to Regina, Rudy & the rest of Quiet Riot for keeping the faith, keeping the flame lit & leaving the door open for this to be possible!

I’m just wondering, did Jizzy ever apologize to this fantastic young man?
@Frankenberry
October 2, 2026 at 6:56 pm
Bro he's given QR a complete new lease on life. I watched a couple songs from that debut show. And he was just flawless. And what a fuckin band. So much talent on that stage, and it's just so awesome to see Rudy out there doing his bass tricks and shit. Alex is a great guitarist, and Johnny is just amazing… Always been a big Type O fan. But with John out front with that voice and youthful energy, theyre unstoppable. Best they have sounded since Kevin.
