Piglet Unveils Heartfelt Title Track from Upcoming EP ‘For Frank Forever’

South London’s rising star, piglet, has unveiled the deeply affecting title track from his forthcoming EP, ‘For Frank Forever.’ The new release comes on the heels of the poignant single ‘White Knuckles,’ and it marks a significant departure into a visceral exploration of grief, social injustice, and the urgency for change.

Dedicated to his late friend Frank, affectionately known as Trib, who tragically died by suicide last summer, ‘For Frank Forever’ embodies a raw vulnerability, interwoven with a fierce critique of societal structures. In a heartfelt message accompanying the track, piglet lays bare the emotional and systemic challenges that resonate throughout the piece. “This song is about the gradual process of coming to understand that poor living standards, your community being demonized, systemic racism and transphobia, and exhausting, badly paid jobs are not just facts of life, or what you deserve,” he reflects. “They are the logical outcomes of white supremacist capitalism.”

With his signature fusion of haunting melodies and reflective lyrics, piglet navigates themes of loss and resilience, urging listeners to understand that the journey toward social justice is not an isolated event, but a collective process. “It’s also about how all this can change, how it has to change, how it will change,” he asserts passionately. “It won’t happen on its own. There won’t be one moment, one act of God, or an isolated instance of peaceful collective revelation. Like everything else, it is a process, a process you should be a part of in any way you can.”

The urgency of his message resonates within the context of a world grappling with increased polarization and injustice, positioning piglet not only as an artist but as a vital voice for change.

To celebrate the release, piglet is gearing up for a UK headline tour this November and December, featuring a lineup of intimate venues where fans can experience his evocative sound live. The tour kicks off on November 12 at The Library in Oxford and includes stops in Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol, Brighton, and London.

With ‘For Frank Forever,’ piglet invites his audience to join him in reflecting on the personal and collective struggles we face, forging connections through music that speak to the heart. As we anticipate the full EP, it’s evident that piglet is carving out a vital space in the contemporary music landscape.
