So full of lies and half truth! What brought the war? Israel? Or Hamas? It's well known that sinwar was planning 7th October for several years together with Iran and hizballa! You are crying of no hope for the people in Gaza, but not mentioning the billiards of dollars poured on Gaza by the international community and stolen by Hamas to build tunnels to attack Israel. Whom do you blame for the condition of the population of Gaza?! You represent the usual 'victim' false crying and blaming everyone else but yourself. You lay to the public, this interview is a disgrace

America is a democratic country… hence you have to make donation to political parties in order to push forward your agenda.. I am sure things will change if Palestinians can make more political contribution than the Jewish popuplations….

    1. When he speaks of one world government view, he means under Sharia law.
    2. The Jesus of the quran is NOT the Jesus that anyone in the west would recognize. The Jesus of the quran states from his own mouth many times, that anyone who believed he was the son of god would be condemned eternally and most harshly at judgement day. Even that Jesus himself will testify against those who claimed he was God's son.
The quran also states that Jesus was created from the dust like Adam. Jesus was not crucified nor raised from the dead. God has no son. Jesus is not so arrogant to reject his role as servant in messenger. Those who believe Jesus is the son will have no lord nor Savior.

Omar obviously knows this, but hides it from this audience. He should say, "Yes islam has a Jesus in its religion, but is is NOT the Jesus of the Christian scriptures." Then he would be fair to the topic.

Lex, you seemed most unprepared to ask him questions about the quran. You should read it, not to try to figure out the meaning of complex teachings, but to see what is stated plainly and with high repetition.

Omar speaks of ignorance yet as knowledgeable and intelligent as he is he is also ignorant himself. The Jews view Israel as their ancestral and spiritual homeland which was taken away from them by invaders. It's just such a shame Muslims fail to accept this. What Muslims accuse the Jews of doing is exactly what Muslims did to the Jews over a thousand years ago. Ultimately the Jews were there first and because Muslims moved into their homeland doesn't necessarily make it their rightful homeland. One has to appreciate the centuries of persecution the Jewish race have had to endure across Europe when they were bullied out of their homeland. It's no wonder they wanted their homeland back so they could be free from such centuries long injustices of being persecuted. They fought for their homeland and had it rightfully returned to them. It's not something they will give up. Like anyone else the Jewish state just wants to live in peace. It's unfortunate that many Palestinians and other Muslim actors such as Iran and its proxy terrorist organisations wish to see the state of Israel wiped off the map. What has to change are the insidious ideologies of those who wish to see the death of the Israeli state. Until such ideologies change nothing will change. Blaming Israel for all the ills in the Middle East is not constructive and only serves to continue to fan the flames of antisemitism in the Muslim world and far left extremists. Both sides of the divide of Israel and Palestine need to adjust their positions and only then from dialogue may each side find compromise and a long lasting settlement for peace and a Palestinian state. The Palestinians have to accept the right and existence of Israel in the first instance and forego its ideology to see Israel wiped off the face of the earth. The long term goal must be for both sides to live in peace and harmony alongside one another. Israel is I'm sure happy for this to happen but hostile actors such as Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas etc are hell-bent on not allowing this to happen. I've long said the problem with the Jews and Muslims in Israel/ Palestine is that they are not being very Christian. If both sides were to be pragmatic and use Christian principles in their way of behaving a solution to the troubles in the Middle East would be found sooner rather than later. For as long as both sides of the divide continue to remain entrenched in their positions the longer no solutions will be found. Both sides have to give ground, compromise and find agreements for progress to be made. Barring a catastrophe I would guess these divisions will continue for many centuries to come. When both sides breed hatred generation after generation this is what we get: an intractable hostile situation between two dogged and stubborn sides.

How can you take a guy seriously when he believes that actual prophets existed? And someone that is obsessive about saying a meaningless phrase every time he mentions this ancient guy’s name? On a human level the conflict is abhorrent with terrible acts being committed by both sides for many years, but I do believe that the ultimate root of all this is religion. While there would still be many conflicts around the world, I’d estimate a good 90% of them would disappear if humans would abandon their idiotic and primitive beliefs in fairy tales.

As of yesterday there have been 97 terorist attacks in UK, 94 of them were Muslims. No comment from this guy, only to somewhat defend some circumstances when people are kiled so ruthlessly.
Tarqiyya in full display by "moderate" believers of the religion if peace…

Thank you Lex for the interview. I do wish you would challenge some of the comments more directly (the ones where there are common contrary talking points) but I only suggest this because I think a person like Omar would use his outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to educate us even more in a objective and positive manner. Keep up the wonderful work Lex.
