While I liked them, Definitely Maybe, and Morning Glory holds up, but they dropped the ball by Be Here Now. The Gallagher brothers were two of the best hype men I have ever seen, up there will Stanley and Simmons. My feeling is folks are going through Rose Tinted Glasses at the moment.

I honestly don't think this reunion is going to happen because there is about 10 months before the scheduled date of the fur show. I think the Gallagher brothers are going to end up killing one another in rehearsals before they even make it to the stage. They should be having the gigs next week but even then there's no guarantee the shows would happen.

They never made your top 10 90s albums. They did 2 decent albums then dropped off a cliff. Not a patch on Blur. Pulp or suede. Coke never did Bowie any harm station to station ring a bell. Great video as always.

By chance saw an Oasis tribute in Liverpool the weekend of their reunion announcement. Huge crowd reaction, everybody knew the words and it was great to relive that time.
Great that another generation will get a chance to see the real thing. Not willing to pay the ticket price myself but always been an Oasis fan.

Great vid and very good to see a balanced review rather than bias towards or hatred against such an iconic band, as seen so often in the people’s videos. Nice!
Oasis are my favourite band. The reason I got into music. And I owe them everything for that. I’m delighted they’re back, but also shocked. Growing up as a teenager in England during the 90’s, Oasis was a huge thing, a phenomenon and, like the Spice Girls were, an absolute brand and sensational ‘thing’ engraved into the culture of the time. Anyway, I hope to get a ticket for this tour but don’t expect to be lucky trying
My fave 5 Oasis songs, difficult to keep as just 5, but let’s go with;

My walk on music if I was a snooker or darts player would be Roll With It, which I’d pop in 6th place.
My top 5 could have easily contained 50 songs. I love Oasis. Oh they make me feel so good. And I get so high I just can’t feel it!!

I wonder if there will be similar US dates? There are a huge number of talented current UK bands doing a retro 90s sound – it even gets a Spotify label as ‘Britpop revival’. Oasis stand to significantly broaden the market for them.
