No, You’re Not Crazy. Everything IS More Expensive. This Is Why.

Stop data brokers from exposing your personal information. Go to my sponsor https://aura.com/leeja to get a 14-day free trial and see how much of yours is being sold! | Everything costs more, inflation is rampant, and monopolies are largely to blame. Despite the fact that we have effective anti-trust laws on the books, they haven’t been enforced in over 4 decades, allowing for the conglomeration of all major industries in the United States. This means that everything here is more expensive than it is in other similar countries. That’s a problem. This is how anti-trust laws will save us all.

During the Gilded Age, the economic disparities between the workers and big business owners grew exponentially. Workers continued to endure low wages and dangerous working conditions in order to make a living. Big business owners, however, enjoyed lavish lifestyles. Sound familiar.

One would have thoughf the "survival of the fittest " brigade might have noticed the complete contradiction to laissez-faire economics….if we take laissez-faire first,…" self balancing " is claimed .. now compare it to " survival of the fittest"….there can NEVER be self balancing AND the other as the same thing. By definition …at some point you MUST lose if you are "self balanced" because someone has " out- fitnessed" you. Incidentally, Darwin ( and Alfred Russel Wallace) usec the word " fitness" to mean, only, reproductive fitness. So….by definition…you can breed 10 really stupid kids….and you win …its GENES that reproduce not bodies…they dont give a shit how they turn up next time…

    WRONG!
Holy shit! Was this written by the government?
Why is everything getting more expensive?
M2 money expansion. De-dollerisation. The unhinged printing of dollars today, pay debt the government created yesterday, socalized into the economy under the incorrectly labeled term inflation. Look up dollar milkshake theory. Look up the everything code and look up ray dalios end of empires. They are coin clipping because they cannot afford the payment on their outstanding debts.
Buying at big box. Mega box. China or mommy June's fruit stand. NONE! Of it will affect the price going up
    It will until it collapses
Sorry. No sweet bed time good news. Both sides of the government are in on it together. Get real assests or be poor.
Is this what Liberals pay for and constitute as education?
    Wrong. Laughable.
Monopolies bad. Says the thing making a living spreading bad info on YouTube. πŸ˜‚

Talk about price gauging been to a convenience store lately. They take advantage of anyone who walks in the door. Reminds me of the 80s. We have become Sweden big business owns everything. No Competition.

I think there is an error in your graphic about the turn of the century. I think both the 4000 and the 11.6 million should be families, not 4000 families versus 11.6 million people because the US population was around 74 million in 1900. I may have misunderstood something you said, but I listened to it repeatedly and this is the only way I could make it make any sense.

Another aspect of all this corporate ass-kissing was the rise of the Neoliberals from the Clinton era on. All those global "free-trade" deals could not have passed without his complicity. Even after Big Corporate crashed the economy, Obama didn't break up any of the bad players involved even though it was within his power at the time to do so. They got a bail-out.

No s^*t sherlock. Why are you going to vote Democrat? Let me guess, its just coincidence that Biden and Harris were in the oval office when things went south with our economy.

Trump is the ONLY candidate who doesn't take money from lobbyists.

Elon Musk contributed money to Trump. Elon will lose money if Trump is elected. Why? Trump intends on moving the country away from battery drive cars. Elon will lose money if Trump wins the next election. It's the definition of conflict of interest. Whats does that tell you? Trump and Musk wants whats best for the country…..

Wow – some tried the tactic of denial to hide global warming — but of all ways to fix a problem, denial is the least effective. Now we face the greatest monster Giant of our Own making — global heating – fed completely by carbon combution and supported by the monopoly industries of carbon fuels. We had a chance 40 years ago,, but now it is too far gone — tipping points of melt and methane. From now on it will be a different kind of politics – one based on survival. A good chunk of the world will nurture human survival — but everything will be different. Sorry kids,

Monopolized databases are behind the price fixing due to the consolidation of food distributors because all food goes through distributors before it goes supermarket. Every warehouse in the world has their information in databases, and these databases are owned by a few software manufactures so therefore it is so easy to find out prices.

Something else we can do that doesn't take a constitutional amendment if the federal government gives every voter a 2000 dollar voucher every year that can only be spent on political campaigns the people in Mass can buy back their politicians

All we do is keep moving the pieces around on the board time and time again. I don't believe there is a solution to many socioeconomic problems as many of them are a result of us being human in general, and I'm not just talking about greed.

Collective bargaining is great. However, organized Unions not so good they are motivated to stay in business not to get the best contract. I worked in Steel mill in PA.
I was a union representative. I went to every meeting. I argued the contract was illegal.
After several meeting and several union employees trying to stop me, they offered money and free trips. I got a new job.

Yabut if you google your name or get on a "do not call" list, you are putting your name on a data base.

Even if you hire a company to protect your privacy. What it's just a front to access your information?

Don’t fool yourself the state is a monopoly. There is a reason why those monarchies lefties love are socialistic. It keeps them there and you down here. For small government to work we need smaller businesses- Politicians Wear No Clothes on Amazon.
