Someone who works with ropes, weights, pulleys would be called a rigger. Think the title role for someone getting all the ropes and pulleys for ships and masts up on a 17th c. galleon ship, I wouldn’t be too surprised if Dore contemporary equivalents in sea shipping industries, airports and construction sites.
