Neko Case Unveils Fall Tour Across North America
Neko Case Launches Expansive Tour Following Memoir Release and Anticipation of New Album
In an exhilarating turn for fans of the genre-blending singer-songwriter, Neko Case has officially announced an extensive North American tour slated for this fall. The multi-talented artist will kick off the tour on October 1 at Woodstock’s Levon Helm Studios, serenading audiences from coast to coast until a final show at the Paramount Theater in Austin, Texas, on November 25.
Fresh off the release of her memoir, The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You, poignant reflections of resilience and artistic evolution spill onto the pages of a narrative inspired by her critically acclaimed 2013 album, The Worse Things Get, the Harder I Fight, the Harder I Fight, the More I Love You. “It was at the height of the pandemic, and like many musicians, I found myself broke and kind of desperate,” Case disclosed to Rolling Stone. Initially hesitant, she accepted the project when her publisher Grand Central laid out the terms—an honest decision that has undoubtedly paid off in resonating deeply with many fans.
Adding further excitement to the tour lineup, acclaimed acts Des Demonas and John Grant will join Case on select dates, promising a diverse array of sounds throughout the journey.
Musically, Case’s last studio album, Hell-On, released in June 2018, showcased her ability to blend folk, rock, and country into a distinctive sound that continues to evolve. As anticipation builds for her forthcoming record, fans can expect the new material to weave seamlessly into her live performances, forging a deeper connection between the artist and her audience.
Neko Case’s tour dates span a variety of cities, with stops in iconic venues such as Chicago’s Salt Shed and Toronto’s Massey Hall, ensuring a robust engagement with fans old and new. The poised dynamo seems set to delight with a setlist that captures her intricate lyricism and spirited melodies.
