I'm going to say no to this .
I'm a huge Beatles fan , bought all the box sets , vinyl & cds and The Plastic Ono Band & Imagine sets , both great , and also the Mind Games set , not so great .
Some Time in New York City and Walls & Bridges , in my humble opinion , would have been much more satifying sets .
We are allowed to have our opinions but Mind Games is way , way overblown .

I really enjoyed the new mix of Mind Games, I thought Sean and his group did an excellent job. Now awaiting the arrival of my copy of this book, it looks like a great deep dive into that period of John's life. Thank you for sharing !

Thanks Barry. I've had it on pre-order for months. I love these books, my bookshelf is groaning under the weight of Beatles books. My personal favourite being the book Astrid Kircherr signed at her exhibition in Liverpool. Keep up the fine work.

Excellent review as always, sir.
As a huge Lennon fan, bordering on hero-worship, my favourite book on him is Albert Goldman's The Lives of John Lennon. This may seem a bit perverse but I think it tells more truth than lies. In fact had John survived to pen his autobiography it would probably have been a whole lot more scandalous and pissed more people off than Goldman's effort, depending on the mood he was in, obviously.
